Training and Education Program

The Northwest Municipal Conference conducts training and education seminars for elected officials. These educational opportunities bring in recognized experts to conduct seminars on specific topics, providing participants the information and knowledge necessary to operate local government in the most effective manner. Our training and education seminars are an extremely cost effective means to professionally develop officials.

Local Government Training Program

The Northwest Municipal Conference will not offer local government training programs.  Organizations such as the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA) and International City/County Managers Association (ICMA) provide training opportunities/programs geared to local government administrators and other employees.
